The present invention relates to an apparatus for blocking discharge of battery, which includes a battery voltage detection unit, a timer, a relay unit, and a control unit. The battery voltage detection unit detects an output voltage of a battery. The timer outputs a first ending signal if a first set time elapses. The relay unit is connected between an earth germinal of the battery and a ground. The control unit is connected to the output terminal of the battery, operates the timer if the battery output voltage received from the battery voltage detection unit is lower than a reference voltage, and makes the relay unit off when receiving the first ending signal from the timer.
