The present invention relates to a display device which is able to obtain a margin to have charging fully implemented and a driving method thereof. The display device according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: a display panel including a plurality of first color pixels, a plurality of second color pixels, and a plurality of third color pixels; and a backlight assembly supplying light to the display panel. Data signals are alternately applied to an odd-numbered frame and an even-numbered frame on the first color pixel located on an odd line and the first color pixel located on an even line; the data signals are alternately applied to the odd-numbered frame and the even-numbered frame on the second color pixel located on the odd line and the second color pixel located on the even line; and the data signals are applied to the odd-numbered frame and the even-numbered framed on the third color pixel. Colors of the light applied to the display panel in the odd-numbered frame and the even-numbered frame are different.
