1. A system for providing aircraft information to passengers of an aircraft, comprising:
at least one video camera for capturing one or more cockpit video images of at least a section of the cockpit of the aircraft, wherein the at least one camera is directed toward a front cockpit window of the aircraft such that at least a portion of the cockpit instruments and at least a portion of the front cockpit window are visible; a receiving component for receiving cockpit video data from the at least one video camera representing one or more cockpit video images of at least a section of the cockpit of the aircraft; and a processing component for processing the received cockpit video data such that the processed cockpit video data is retrievable on demand by the passengers of the aircraft to provide the one or more cockpit video images.
