A BIM based data mining system and an operating method thereof are disclosed. The present invention provides the BIM based data mining system which includes: a manager terminal activating an application and displaying BIM mining data, generated as a result of performing a data mining function based on python file data written in a python script language via the activated application, in a predetermined format; and a service server performing the data mining function based on the python file data.
