<p>A jack-up rig is disclosed. The jack-up rig is ascended using power when a jack-up leg is ascended, and is descended when the jack-up leg is descended. According to the present invention, a support leg of the jack-up rig is descended by its self-weight and is ascended by a lift unit to save energy when compared with an existing jack-up rig which requires power to be ascended and descended. Moreover, a driving shaft is rotated by the support leg descended by its self-weight, and a power generator is connected to an end part side of the driving shaft in order to generate power using a rotational force of the driving shaft. As such, the present invention is capable of generating power to significantly save energy.</p> |
