A purpose of the present invention is to provide a spinning reel for fishing which can prevent sea water, a foreign substance and so on from entering into a bearing and which can withstand sufficiently a use under harsh environments and which shows proper properties in rotation performance, handling and maintenance. In the spinning reel for fishing of the present invention, a line roller (23) is supported to be able to rotate by a support shaft (17) by means of a bearing (25) attached with a magnetic fluid seal wherein a magnetic fluid seal is installed integrally to a bearing. The magnetic fluid seal (40) of the bearing (25) is installed on both sides of a bearing body (30). Further, the magnetic fluid (45) of the magnetic fluid seal (40) includes an outer ring magnetic fluid (45b) held and supported between an outer ring (30b) and a magnet (42); and an inner ring magnetic fluid (45a) held and supported between an inner ring (30a) and an upholding support plate (44). |
