Disclosed is an antimicrobial filter comprising a copper-based sulfur compound, which is easy to be processed with relatively low costs, and with excellent antimicrobial properties and deodorizing properties without toxicity. The filter comprises: a porous carrier comprising a fine pore inside, wherein a fluid passes through the pore; and a sulfur compound comprising copper sulfide coated on the surface of a porous carrier or dispersed in a porous carrier. A chemical structure of a sulfur compound is Cu_xM_y, wherein M is one selected from groups 15 and 17 of the periodic table, and x/y in the range of 0.8 to 1.2. |
