The compressor has a casing, and a compressor stage consisting of a set of vane wheels, and a wheel of a mobile blade (1). The wheel is positioned downstream from the wheels of the vane. A set of cavities (5) is arranged in a non-communicating manner. The cavities are provided with a lengthened form according to a main direction of orientation. The casing has an upstream border (7) and a downstream border (6). One of the borders is positioned axially on a same level of the cavities. Two consecutive cavities have different lengths according to the main direction of orientation.
