<p>This invention is directed to a superior adhesive for oral adhering discs or troches. The adhesive is at least 80% acacia gum mixed with an alkalizer so that as the acacia gum is combined with water it does not yield a pH lower than 5.5. The preferred alkalizer is calcium carbonate in a ratio within the range 15 : 1 to 50 : 1.</p> |
