PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rear axle frame which allows a housing for storing a transmission gear etc. to be housed therein and enables easy oil supply to and oil drainage from the housing in a counter balance type forklift. ! SOLUTION: A rear axle frame is provided at a fork lift and includes: an upper plate part extending in a crosswise direction of a vehicle body; a swing shaft which is provided at a center part of the upper plate part when viewed in the crosswise direction, horizontally extends in a fore and aft direction of the vehicle body, and is pivotally supported by the vehicle body so that the rear axle frame may swing; a lower plate part extending in the crosswise direction of the vehicle body; and an intermediate wall part which connects the upper plate part with the lower plate part, extends in a direction perpendicular to a vertical direction of the vehicle body, and supports a rear axle, a steering motor, and a housing.
