A compiling method. The method comprises: obtaining, by a compiling device, a program to be compiled, wherein the program to be compiled is edited by a user on an editing device and is synchronized to the compiling device by the editing device (S501); receiving, by the compiling device, a compiling instruction sent by the editing device using a first protocol, wherein the compiling instruction is used for indicating to the compiling device to compile the program to be compiled (S502); and executing, by the compiling device, the compiling instruction to compile the program to be compiled (S503).
