A method for deleting a notification resource, comprising: receiving, by a common service entity (CSE), a resource update request, the resource update request containing an original resource address parameter and a notification achieving parameter; and finding, by the CSE, a corresponding original resource which is created locally and an attribute thereof according to the original resource address parameter, and if it is judged that the value of the notification achieving parameter is empty, and a "notification achieving" attribute has been created in an original resource, sending a resource deletion request to a remote CSE, the resource deletion request containing an address of a notification resource which is saved in the "notification achieving" attribute. The embodiments of the present invention can provide a simple and quick manner to achieve the deletion processing of a notification resource. Also disclosed is a common service entity. |
