The present invention relates to a method for operating a double acting type reciprocating flow amplifier capable of reciprocating a piston while inflow/outflow of a pressure fluid is continuously repeated by one cycle. According to the present invention, a double acting type reciprocating flow amplifier comprises: a cylinder including a first cylinder chamber in one side, and a second cylinder chamber in the other side; a first piston operated in the first cylinder chamber; a second piston operated in the second chamber; and a piston rod to integrally connect the first piston and the second piston. Moreover, in forward operation, one side (a first piston side) and the other side (a piston rod side) of the first cylinder chamber are communicated, thereby being connected to a hydraulic pressure source, and one side (a second piston side) of the second cylinder chamber is communicated with a driving apparatus, so a fluid is supplied to the driving apparatus. In backward operation, one side (a second piston side) and the other side (a piston rod side) of the second cylinder chamber are communicated, thereby being connected to a hydraulic pressure source, and one side (a first piston side) of the first cylinder chamber is communicated with the driving apparatus, so fluid is supplied to the driving apparatus. The present invention has effects of increasing output, increasing the amplification rate, and reducing the weight of a moving body as a size ratio (diameter ratio or area ratio)of a piston rod with respect to a piston is small. |
