<p>Abstract Medical Restriction Device for Hollow Organs of a Body 5 The invention relates to a medical restriction device (1) for hollow organs of a body, having a longitudinal flexible element (2) having a first and a sec ond end (4, 6), a closure device (8) locking the longitudinal element (2) annularly in a predetermined diameter position, and a tip (10) as an inser tion aid at the first end (4) of the longitudinal element (2) for placing the 10 restriction device (1) on the hollow organ, wherein the tip (10) comprises a reinforcing core (14) made of rigid material, wherein an opening (18) is provided at the second end (6) of the longitudinal element (2) as part of the closure device (8), the tip (10) can be inserted with the first end (4) of the longitudinal element (2) into the opening (18) at the second end (6) of 15 the longitudinal element (2) for locking the closure device (8), and the tip (10) is fixedly connected to the first end (4); and can be cut off after lock ing the longitudinal element (2) by the closure device (8).
