PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic controller which can set the number of sensors connected to an ECU with less man-hours.SOLUTION: Two control units provided with connection parts that can connect functional circuits performing predetermined functions within a predetermined upper limit number compose a pair, and there is one or more pairs. To the control units comprising a pair, the same number of functional circuits as that of the units are connected, a number for identifying the control unit overrides the pair of control units to which the upper limit number of functional circuits are connected, the number of the control units is allotted from the predetermined youngest number so that the numbers of control units comprising the pair are arranged in series and the numbers of all control units are arranged in series. The control unit is further provided with a discrimination part discriminating the number of functional circuits connected to itself on the basis of a total number of preset control units and a total number of the functional circuits. |
