PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reception device capable of recognizing that a program being received currently or to be received in the future by a receiver is a 3D program, recognizing which one of recorded programs is the 3D program, and enhancing the user convenience.SOLUTION: A reception device receives a digital broadcast signal broadcasted such that 3D video program contents and 2D video program contents coexist, and generates program information and records it in a recording medium together with video program contents. The reception device determines whether the received program contents are 3D video program contents or 2D video program contents by using the program contents and identification information for identifying whether the program contents are the 3D video program or 2D video program contents, and records information indicating whether or not the program contents are the 3D video program contents, in the program information. |
