Systems and methods that provide charging for Rich Communication Services (RCS). One embodiment comprises an offline charging system that receives a Diameter charging request from a network element that provides a Rich Communication Services (RCS) service. The offline charging system processes an Attribute Value Pair (AVP) of the Diameter charging request to identify an RCS service Identifier (ID) that uniquely identifies the RCS service. The offline charging system selects RCS charging logic for the RCS service based on the RCS service ID, and initiates the RCS charging logic to charge for the RCS service. |
