摘要 This control device for a continuously variable transmission comprises: a continuously variable transmission mechanism (CVT) that transmits power by a belt (7) wound between a primary pulley (5) and a secondary pulley (6); a torque converter (2) that has a pump impeller (20), a turbine runner (21), and a lock-up clutch (2a); and a control means (10) that controls so that the lock-up clutch (2a) is set to a prescribed engagement state in accordance with the traveling state, and controls so that the continuously variable transmission is set to a prescribed gear ratio. When the rotational difference (ΔN) between the engine speed (Ne) and the turbine speed (Nt), which is the rotational speed of the turbine runner, is a prescribed rotational difference (ΔN1) or lower while the lock-up clutch (2a) transitions from a released state to an engaged state, the control means (10) controls the gear ratio of the continuously variable transmission mechanism (CVT) so that the turbine speed (Nt) is closer to the engine speed (Ne) than the turbine speed (Nt1) that would result were the control of the gear ratio of the continuously variable transmission mechanism (CVT) on the basis of the traveling state to be continued.
