摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection control device capable of generating more homogeneous air-fuel mixture by executing appropriate fuel injection.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a fuel injection control device that is applied to an internal combustion engine including a fuel injection valve injecting fuel toward an area between an exhaust valve in a combustion chamber and a piston crown surface from a predetermined position in an area near a bore wall surface of an intake valve opposite to the discharge vale, and configured so that an intake port generates a normal tumble flow, and that comprises a control unit executing, in one engine cycle, main fuel injection for injecting the fuel by changing a lift amount of a needle valve of the fuel injection valve within a range up to a first lift amount, and sub-fuel injection for injecting the fuel by changing the lift amount of the needle valve within a range up to a second lift amount smaller than the first lift amount. The control unit is configured to execute the sub-fuel injection at least once within a specific period including the timing of starting to open the intake valve, and to carry the fuel injected by the sub-fuel injection on a reverse tumble flow.
