PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming system and image forming apparatus that can prevent, in performing double-sided printing, the occurrence of image defects due to dew condensation that has occurred on a sheet conveying member. ! SOLUTION: An image forming system 10 includes: a dew condensation occurrence state detection unit (humidity detection sensor 180 and CCD camera 250) that detects the state of the occurrence of dew condensation on a sheet conveying member (conveying guide 175) provided on the downstream side of a fixing unit 160 in the sheet conveyance direction, due to water vapor generated from sheets S during fixation of images in the fixing unit 160 of a first image forming device 100; and a dew condensation suppression unit (control unit 101) that suppresses dew condensation in the conveying guide 175 in response to a result of the detection by the dew condensation state detection unit. !
