PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a passenger conveyor capable of increasing efficiency of maintenance inspection work.SOLUTION: A passenger conveyor includes: a drive shaft 404 that is rotated by being subjected to transmission of power from a drive unit 401; a footstep driving sprocket 407 over which a footstep chain 409 is looped and which is rotated on the drive shaft 404; and a handrail driving sprocket 408 over which a first handrail chain 412 is looped and which is rotated on the drive shaft 404. The handrail driving sprocket 408 changes a state between the rotational state of rotating integrally with the drive shaft 404 and the disengaged state of being disengaged from the drive shaft 404. |
