PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dynamo-electric machine in which the operating area from high torque low rotational speed to low torque high rotational speed can be expanded.SOLUTION: Teeth 30 of a stator is divided into at least a first teeth 31 and a second teeth 32, and the second teeth 32 is made rotatable relatively to the first teeth 31, between a first position of small magnetic resistance and a second position of relatively large magnetic resistance between both teeth 31, 32. The dynamo-electric machine is configured so that a relational expression (total magnetic resistance of main magnetic circuit)<(total magnetic resistance of short circuit magnetic circuit)≤(total magnetic resistance of inter-permanent magnet magnetic circuit) is satisfied in a state where the second teeth 32 is located at the first position, and both relational expressions (total magnetic resistance of short circuit magnetic circuit)<(total magnetic resistance of main magnetic circuit), and (total magnetic resistance of short circuit magnetic circuit)≤(total magnetic resistance of inter-permanent magnet magnetic circuit) are satisfied in a state where the second teeth 32 is located at the second position. |
