PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a packaging film which is excellent in bag-breaking strength and low-temperature sealability and in which a liquid is packed at high speed in a wide temperature range of low temperature to high temperature. ! SOLUTION: The packaging film is obtained by forming, at the least, a base material layer, an intermediate layer and a sealant layer in this order and is used in a die roll type automatic packing machine. The intermediate layer comprises a polyethylene resin composition (C) comprising 90-50 wt.% of a copolymer (A) of ethylene with 3-20C α-olefin and 10-50 wt.% of high-pressure low-density polyethylene (B) and is prepared so that the following conditions (1)-(3) are satisfied. The condition (1) is that the storage modulus (E'100) to be measured at 100°C is 12.0-13.5 MPa. The condition (2) is that the storage modulus (E'110) to be measured at 110°C is 1.5-4.0 MPa.
