1. A system for monitoring a life of a component in a wellbore, the system comprising:
data processing apparatus; and a computer-readable medium storing instructions executable by the data processing apparatus to perform operations comprising:
periodically receiving a load value of a load while the load is being applied to a component in a wellbore; andwhile the load is being applied to the component in the wellbore, periodically determining a fatigue on the component caused by the load based, at least in part, on the periodically received load value, and wherein periodically determining the fatigue on the component comprises:
periodically determining a number of cycles of the load applied to the component;comparing the number of cycles of the load to a maximum number of cycles that are applicable to the component, the number of cycles applied to the component increasing over time andproviding a notification when the number of cycles of the load applied to the component approaches the maximum number of cycles. |
