Provided is a virus-like particle that can be used to provide a vaccine for preventing infectious diseases with a high immunogenicity, over a shorter period of time, and in mass volumes, and to produce a vaccine with lessened side effects such as anaphylactic shock and allergic reactions. Also provided is a method for producing said virus-like particles, and a such a vaccine. The present invention is a virus-like particle that contains a recombinant virus membrane protein, in addition to lipid of Bombyx mori origin. The virus-like particle is characterized by spikes of the recombinant virus membrane protein being densely arranged on the surface of the hollow spherical outer shells that are made from components including the lipid.
