VIRTUAL DEVICE ACCESS METHOD AND APPARATUS

Disclosed are a virtual memory access method and apparatus which are applied to a local server. The local server is connected to a remote server through a non-transparent PCI bridge, the non-transparent PCI bridge is used for converting access to addresses mapped from the remote server to the local server into access to addresses on the remote server, and the local server stores an address space mapping relationship between the local server and the remote server. The method comprises: obtaining a remote server that a virtual memory is on according to a virtual address in a received virtual memory access instruction and obtaining an address of the virtual memory on the remote server; obtaining an address of the virtual memory mapped to the local server according to the address space mapping relationship and the address of the virtual memory on the remote server; and accessing the virtual memory by accessing the address of the virtual memory mapped to the local server. Also disclosed are a virtual straight-through device access method and apparatus. The performance of a distributed virtualization system is improved.
