A wireless image transmission system, wherein a transmitter is equipped with first and second wireless image blocks and a first control unit, and a receiver is equipped with: a third wireless image block for obtaining a first image signal by receiving a signal transmitted in a first frequency band; a fourth wireless image block for obtaining a second image signal by receiving a signal transmitted in a second frequency band; a receiving status acquisition unit for acquiring information about the receiving status; an image quality determination unit for determining the image quality of images based on the first and second image signals; and a second control unit for selecting the first image signal when the receiving status is favorable, selecting the second image signal when the status is unfavorable, and when in an intermediate state, selecting the first or the second image signal while switching therebetween according to the results of image quality determination, and outputting said signal. |
