The present invention relates to a vehicle lamp apparatus capable of forming a plurality of light distribution patterns with a plurality of light sources and one shade. The purpose of the present invention is to provide the vehicle lamp apparatus wherein two light distribution patterns overlap with each other. The vehicle lamp apparatus (10) comprises: a projection lens (12) disposed on an optical axis extended in forward and backward directions of a vehicle; an LED (14) emitting light toward a rear focus (F) of the projection lens; another LED (16) emitting the light toward the rear focus (F) of the projection lens; and a shade (22) blocking a portion of the light emitted from the LED (14) to form a first light distribution pattern having a first cut off line and blocking the portion of the light emitted from the LED (16) to form a second light distribution pattern having a second cut off line. The shade (22) has a front end edge (22a) which is positioned in the further rear side than the rear focus (F).
