PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply unit including plural DC/DC converters connected parallel to each other capable of operating with high conversion efficiency.SOLUTION: The power supply unit includes: first and second DC/DC converters 7, 8 each of which has plural switching elements and a reactor 73, 83, respectively. A control unit 14 includes a discontinuity determination circuit 12 that determines whether a reactor current is discontinuous or not and a controller 13. The controller 13 selects and switches among: a single drive mode in which only the first DC/DC converter 7 is driven according to an output current as a sum of the reactor currents; a discontinuous mode in which the first DC/DC converter 7 is driven according to a current command to perform zero current switching, and the rest output current is output by the second DC/DC converter 8; and plural unit equivalent mode in which the first and second DC/DC converters 7, 8 are driven with an identical current command. |
