PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To divide a curved shape at a large pitch to make polygonal line approximation, and divide the curved shape into plate elements at a large pitch.SOLUTION: An inside-and-outside determination part 3 determines whether all polygonal points on a polygonal line approximated to a borderline of a first constituent face are positioned inside of the polygonal line approximated on a borderline of a second constituent face when a curved shape is approximated by the polygonal line and the approximated shape is divided into plate elements. When it is determined that at least one of the polygonal points regarding the first constituent face is positioned outside of the polygonal line on the second constituent face, a polygonal line approximation part 1 adds a polygonal point on the borderline of the second constituent face to reconstruct the polygonal line regarding the second constituent face. When there is a crossing among the polygonal lines approximated to each of the two constituent faces, an occurrence of a crossing may be avoided by adding a polygonal point so that the polygonal line is reconstructed, instead of reducing division pitch of the polygonal line.
|
