PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power storage device arranged to suppress a local load applied to opposing regions where active material layers opposed to each other owing to fixing tape.SOLUTION: A secondary battery comprises: an electrode assembly 12; and a case housing the electrode assembly. The end faces 12a and 12b of the electrode assembly 12 in a laminating direction thereof each have an opposing portion 31; the respective opposing regions 30 of positive and negative electrode active material layers of positive and negative electrodes where the positive and negative electrode active material layers are opposed to each other when viewed from the laminating direction are projected to the opposing portions. On the opposing portions 31, pieces of fixing tape 45 for fixing the positive and negative electrodes and a separator, and spacers 50 are arranged so as not to overlie each other. The thickness of the spacers 50 is equal to or larger than that of the pieces of fixing tape 45.
