PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acrylic adhesive composition capable of, when laminating an adhesive layer on an adherend such as a transparent conductive layer, inhibiting the adherend from degrading by a degradation substance included in the adhesive layer, and also to provide an adhesive layer formed from the composition, a laminate bonding an adhesive-layer-including substrate film having the adhesive layer at least on one face of the substrate film and a substrate having transparent conductive layer together, and a picture display unit using these.SOLUTION: An acrylic adhesive composition includes a (meth)acrylic polymer and a phosphonic acid-based compound expressed by a formula (1) or a salt thereof. The content of the phosphonic acid-based compound expressed by the formula (1) is 0.005-3 pts.wt. with regard to the (meth)acrylic polymer 100 pts.wt. (R is hydrocarbon residue of C1-18 and may include H or O.)
