In the case of 3 hours after injured, when the expression level of a subject's miR-9* is less than 25 times as compared with the expression level of a healthy person's miR-9*, the prognosis of acute phase spinal cord injury is predicted to be good, and when the expression level of a subject's miR-9* is 25 times or more as compared with the expression level of a healthy person's miR-9*, the prognosis of acute phase spinal cord injury is predicated to be poor.
