PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wind intake device capable of being set to be in the state of taking a wind, which flows along an exterior wall of a building, into a room and the state of not taking the wind, which flows along the exterior wall of the building, into the room. ! SOLUTION: A wind intake device 1 according to the present invention includes: a wind shielding plate 21 that is provided in such a manner as to protrude outdoors 84 from an opening edge 86 of an opening 85 passing through walls (exterior and interior walls 81 and 82) of a building 80 and communicating indoor and outdoor sides 83 and 84 of the building with each other; a ventilation hole 22 that is provided in such a manner as to pass through the wind shielding plate 21 and that allows the passage of wind; and a wind guiding member 23 that can open and close the ventilation hole 22 and that guides the wind, passing through the ventilation hole 22, to the side of the opening 85. !
