PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealant for an optical semiconductor device that can improve the intensity of light emitted from an optical semiconductor device, and can suppress the occurrence of cracks in the sealant and the peeling of the sealant even if the optical semiconductor device is exposed to a severe condition.SOLUTION: A sealant for an optical semiconductor device according to the present invention comprises a silicone compound that is liquid at 23°C, and a filler excluding a phosphor, wherein the filler has a circularity of 0.8 or more, and the filler has an average particle diameter of 0.2 μm or more and 10 μm or less. |
