The present invention relates to a dual-mode charging connector capable of high-speed charging and, particularly, to a USB connector of which one of both sides is selectively connected to a USB port so as to charge a mobile terminal, and at the same time, enable data communication or to charge the mobile terminal at high speed without performing data communication. The dual-mode charging connector capable of high-speed charging, according to the present invention, comprises: a plug of which one of both sides has a first data terminal unit for data communication and a first charging terminal unit for charging, the other side has a second data terminal unit and a second charging terminal unit, and one end is inserted into a connection port; a body in which the plug is provided such that one end of the plug protrudes therefrom; and a switch for short-circuiting the second data terminal unit when the plug is inserted into the connection port and the second charging terminal unit is connected to the connection port. |
