Provided are a method and device for switching a multi-link master clock, and a packet transport network (PTN) device. The method for switching a multi-link master clock is applied to a packet transport network (PTN) device, and the multiple links belong to the same clock domain. The switching method comprises: according to state information about a jitter register in the PTN device and data transmission information about a current master clock link, judging whether the switching of master clock links is required; and when the switching of the master clock links is required, selecting one link from the multiple links, except for the current master clock link, as a new master clock link. By means of the technical solution provided in the present invention, it is judged whether a current master clock link is required to be switched according to service transmission conditions in a PTN network, and when the switching is required, master clock links are reselected, thereby avoiding the problem that the service transmission quality caused by frequent switching of the master clock links is reduced. |
