Provided is a porous plate-shaped filler assembly comprising a plurality of porous plate-shaped fillers having a uniform shape and low variation in the maximum length thereof. The porous plate-shaped filler assembly (1) comprises a plurality of porous plate-shaped fillers (1a). The porous plate-shaped fillers (1a) all have a plate shape in which the aspect ratio is at least 3, the minimum length is 0.1-50 μm, the porosity is 20-99%, and the variation in the maximum length among the plurality of porous plate-shaped fillers as determined by means of the belowmentioned formula is no greater than 10%. Variation (%) in maximum length = standard deviation of maximum length / average value of maximum length × 100 (where the "maximum length" is greatest length when sandwiching the porous plate-shaped fillers between a set of parallel surfaces).
