The invention relates to a contact carrier (15) that has a base body (16) and at least one contact element (1) that extends with a holding section (21) into the base body (16) and that has at least one tool channel (22) that runs adjacent to the holding section (21). Furthermore, the invention relates to a tool for injection moulding a contact carrier (15) and to a method for producing a contact carrier (15). The object of the invention is to provide a solution by means of which a contact carrier (15) can be produced more easily and less expensively. According to the invention this is achieved by a method for producing a contact carrier (15) that has a contact element (1), comprising an injection moulding step wherein a tool part (10) on the base body side is removed in a demoulding direction (12) from a tool part (4) on the contact side and the injection moulded contact carrier (15), characterised in that a contact element (1) is inserted into a receiver of the tool part (4) on the contact side and the receiver (3) is sealed by a pin (11) of the tool part (10) on the base body side running in the demoulding direction (12).
