PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique to prevent the application of force to a pressure receiving surface of a deformation plate when manufacturing a power storage device.SOLUTION: A power storage device 2 comprises: a case 4 having an opening 4a; a lid 3 which closes the opening of the case 4; an electrode assembly 5 housed in an inner space of the case; and a current cutoff device 6 which can cut off a conduction path between the electrode assembly and an electrode terminal 14. The current cutoff device 6 has, on one surface 9, a deformation plate 7 for receiving the pressure in the inner space of the case. If the pressure in the inner space of the case 4 exceeds a predetermined value, the deformation plate 7 deforms so that the conduction path is cut off. A direction in which the opening 4a is positioned with respect to the center of the case 4 is orthogonal to a direction in which the pressure receiving surface 9 of the deformation plate 7 is oriented. |
