PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel nonvolatile latch circuit and a semiconductor device using the same.SOLUTION: A latch circuit comprises a loop structure in which output of a first element is electrically connected to input of a second element, and output of the second element is electrically connected to input of the first element through a second transistor. A transistor using an oxide semiconductor as a semiconductor material constituting a channel formation region is used as a switching element. Also, the transistor comprises capacitor which is electrically connected to a source electrode or a drain electrode of the transistor, thereby, data of the latch circuit can be retained. Thus, a nonvolatile latch circuit can be constituted. |
