Provided is an electric power steering device that drives an electric motor according to an assist command value that is calculated on the basis of the detection result of a torque sensor that detects the steering torque input from a steering wheel, said electric power steering device being provided with: a phase advance correction unit that advances the phase of a steering torque signal detected by the torque sensor; a specified frequency extraction unit that extracts a specified frequency band component from the steering torque signal detected by the torque sensor; a gain multiplication unit that multiplies the steering torque signal, which is calculated on the basis of the output signal of the phase advance correction unit and the output signal of the specified frequency extraction unit, by a gain, and corrects the steering torque signal so as to reach a limit value set by a limiter; and an addition unit that adds an assist corrected command value, which is calculated on the basis of the output signal output from the gain multiplication unit, to the assist command value. |
