PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a screw fastening device capable of preventing a screw fastening failure due to a fitting failure between a driver bit tip end and a groove of a screw head or a screw suction failure.SOLUTION: A screw fastening device is equipped with a driver mechanism 35b which includes a servo motor 351b for rotating a driver bit 356b, and an electromagnetic coil 358b for exciting the driver bit 356b; a driver positioning mechanism 31 for vertically moving the driver mechanism 35b; a buffer mechanism 33b interposed between the driver mechanism 35b and the driver positioning mechanism 31, and vertically moving the driver mechanism 35b to the driver positioning mechanism 31 on the basis of difference between set energizing force energizing the driver mechanism 35b downward and reaction force from a screw to the driver mechanism 35b; a photoelectronic sensor 338b which outputs an abnormal signal when the buffer mechanism 33 moves upward to the driver mechanism 35b by exceeding a set distance; and a control system for controlling the driver mechanism 35b and the driver positioning mechanism 31. |
