PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress overspeed of a motor generator in a hybrid vehicle.SOLUTION: Vehicle control units (31, 32 and 33) are vehicle control units of a hybrid vehicle 1 comprising: an engine 10 capable of performing lean combustion; an electric motor MG1; and a power distribution mechanism 14 having a planetary gear. The vehicle control units are provided with change means (31, 32 and 33) changing an upper limit rotating speed of an electric motor in accordance with at least one of (i) an air-fuel ratio related to the engine 10 and (ii) an output change amount related to the engine 10, a shift position related to a transmission of the hybrid vehicle 1 and an air-fuel ratio change amount related to the engine 10. |
