The present invention is an anchoring device for carts, for example carts for transporting luggage in airports, the carts are stored consecutively such that each cart has an anchoring and a key linked, for example, by means of a chain section, adapted to be anchored in the anchoring of the adjacent cart. Therefore, there is a plurality of consecutively stored, aligned and arranged carts that are all connected to one another. The introduction of a coin or token into the device allows releasing the cart such that it can be used by the user upon being separated from the row.
