<p>Provided is a highly safe clutch device capable of maintaining a locked state reliably even when an excessive load is applied to a second member. This clutch device is equipped with: a lock drum (18) on a first member, an output shaft plate (12) on a second member, a lock spring (16) fitted into the lock drum (18), lock spring securing plates (13, 17), and an operation mechanism (20) linked to the lock spring (16). A lock spring stepped part (16c) is formed on secured-side end part of the lock spring (16), and the lock spring stepped part (16c) secured by press-fitting the lock spring stepped part into crank-shaped grooves (13a, 17a) of the lock spring securing plates (13, 17). Thus, the lock spring (16) to which a compression load is applied is secured and a strong locking force with no play is obtained. Preferably the operation mechanism (20) employs a simple intermittent feed based on gear engagement.</p> |
