The present invention relates to an outer structure of a cargo vessel using an alternative structure. A stem part whose right and left lateral surfaces have a stair shape, multiple cargo holds, an engine room, and a stern part block are formed respectively by using a steel plate with a predetermined thickness. In the outside of the stem part, the multiple cargo holds, the engine room, and the stern part blocks, as a predetermined material is used, an internal surface has a stair shape to correspond to the external surface of the stem part, the multiple cargo holds, the engine room, and the stern part blocks, and an external surface has a curved surface to correspond to each position of a cargo vessel. In a gap between the internal surface and the external surface, multiple hollow alternative structures having a space part with a predetermined volume are fixed and installed respectively. Therefore, the present invention has effects of reducing friction resistance with respect to an outer plate of a vessel in comparison with a steel plate, reducing costs of an outer plate of a cargo vessel, easily performing installation and repair work, improving marketability and reliability of a cargo vessel by enduring pressure and sea conditions, meeting satisfaction of a ship owner, replacing a void space and a ballast tank of the existing cargo vessel, and ensuring stability during sailing by having proper buoyancy and weight to correspond to a change in the total weight of a hull including a cargo. |
