PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bamboo sword that facilitates an action of tightening a little finger and a ring finger in hitting and lunging, and ensures a structure of a handle capable of obtaining a normal use state where a string faces the top when posing at middle guard or short guard, and thereby can contribute to the improvement of a sword technique.SOLUTION: A bamboo sword A is provided with a bamboo sword body 1 formed by combining two or more long split pieces 5a-5d into a cylindrical cross section. A first finger grip part 6 gripped with a left fist is provided in a handle 4 of the bamboo sword body 1 by forming a right side surface (split piece 5c) at the side of a pommel 4a in a substantially flat shape so as to become thin. Also, a forward left side surface (split piece 5d) separated from the pommel 4a by an appropriate size is formed in a substantially flat shape so as to become thin and a second finger grip part 7 gripped with a right fist is provided. |
