PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas chromic glass switching system capable of swiftly switching chromic characteristics, in order to solve the problem that the conventional gas chromic glass requires a certain time for hydrogen supply and a couple minutes for switching the chromic characteristics.SOLUTION: A hydrogen gas adsorbent is disposed outside of a gas chromic area of a multiple layered glass. A hydrogen is supplied to the gas adsorbent from a hydrogen gas supply unit and stored therein. By supplying hydrogen instantaneously from the hydrogen gas adsorbent to a space in contact with the gas chromic area, quick switching of the chromic characteristics is achieved.
