PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus for providing channel state information-reference signal (CSI-RS) configuration information in a wireless communication system supporting multiple antennas.SOLUTION: A method includes: transmitting information on one or more CSI-RS configurations which include one CSI-RS configuration for which the terminal assumes non-zero transmission power for the CSI-RS (S1310); transmitting information indicating a CSI-RS configuration for which the terminal assumes zero transmission power for the CSI-RS among the one or more CSI-RS configurations (S1310); mapping CSI-RSs to respective resource elements of a downlink subframe according to the one or more CSI-RS configurations (S1320); and transmitting the downlink subframe with the CSI-RSs mapped (S1330).
